My Adobe (ACE) Course books arrived late last week and I’ve been getting stuck into the basic Illustrator course book. I’m now halfway through and starting to see real improvements in my abilities to play with and manipulate the software. In addition to using Illustrator to adapt my doodles into patterns, I’ve now started creating shapes out of joined paths and using them to create vector image patterns. Here are the first few that I’ve created.
For there is always method in madness and a pattern amidst the seemingly random!

Love these patterns! Especially the yellow/sun one. Great job!
Thanks Socialite the yellow sun pattern is my favourite too, especially as it was the first complicated shape pattern I made using paths!
